Our Program Goals:

  • To provide intentional programming and mentorship.
  • To provide transitional resources on the day a youth ages out of juvenile corrections, including a personalized Bible in addition to the personalized resource lists.
  • To reduce the recidivism rate between juvenile corrections and adult corrections by providing continued community re-entry support through mentoring and connection to resources and churches post release.

Mentorship & Resources

Once an aged out youth initiates contact post release, they are connected to a mentor and a needs assessment is completed. Contact continues to provide ongoing encouragement and connection to resources or a church community.

  • Connection to resources may include: food assistance, medical care, transportation, resources needed for employment, education, parenting classes.
  • We value families and communities. Our support often includes ministry based support and referral to resources for the aged out youth, their significant other or peers, and their family. For aged out youth who become first time parents, we are there to mentor, guide, and connect to community resources to promote family self-sufficiency.
